Pig Race report...

Many thanks to everyone who supported the Grand Pig Race in September. Over 80 people attended, many of them from within the Parish. The Blue Cross were delighted with the £1,850 we raised. Wendy Pinker, who also brought her beautiful hand made Nepali jewellery and bags in aid of her clinic in Nepal was equally pleased with her sales level.

The General Section judge (who also judges the Yate show) commented that Iron Acton had far more exhibits than Yate!
