Searching for an old Iron Acton family

One of IronActonParish.info's more far flung readers is researching his ancestory and needs some help to discover a bit more about his Iron Acton roots. Can you help?

James Henry Smith left Iron Acton with his family in 1852 for Adelaide, South Australia. I am a direct descendant of his son Samuel James who was four when the family set out. There are graves with memorials at the Iron Acton church marking the resting place of family members.

Having the name of Smith makes researching family history a complex task. I would like to learn more about this family but can not reach back beyond the parents James and Amelia (nee Willis) Smith who died at Iron Acton in 1845 and 1849 respectively. They also had a son Horatio Nelson born in 1799 who I have not traced.
