Village Christmas

When? Saturday 18th of December 2010
Where? Starting at St James the Less church, with children performing carols and continuing at the Parish Hall
What time? 4pm to 6pm
What can I do? Come and buy from the stalls; enjoy a festive drink, a bite to eat and some musical entertainment.

Special guest Father Christmas... Snow guaranteed!!

Returning by popular demand for a forth year, all parishioners, friends and families are warmly invited to get together to enter the festive spirit.

The events starts with Christmas carols in the Church involving children from both North Road and Iron Acton schools

After the service the action moves along the high street to the Parish Hall and the surrounding area, where you can buy some last minute gifts and treats from the craft stalls and enjoy a festive drink and a bite to eat. musical entertainment will be provided by the Dodington Brass Band, the Church Choir and a Hand-bell Ringing Ensemble. The young crowd will enjoy playing in the 'snow' and trying their luck on a number of side stalls.

Thanks to the money raised in previous years and a number of extremely generous donations, we have provided trees and lighting around the village. The High Street, Chilwoodand Park Street and The Green so far!
