Ways to help
We want IronActonParish.info to be excellent resource for the village and parish of Iron Acton. We also want the site to be accurate and wide-ranging. More than anything we'd like to think the site reflects well on the parish and the people who live in it.
Anything you do to help us achieve this is greatly appreciated.
You can help in a variety of ways:
Use the site
Most importantly, please make good use of the site itself. Visit often to see what's going on. Look up the things you need or visit for the weather and local news. Bookmark us in your favourites; share content using the social networking toolbar on ever page; make us your home page.
The more visitors the site gets, the more attention it will get from information providers, the more incentive there is to improve and expand it.
Promote your events
If you're organising or know of an event in the parish or a neighbouring village, please make sure you let us know. We can add it to the calendar in the What's on section and promote it on the site - FREE.
Help promote IronActonParish.info
Help us reach more people. Please put links on your website or blogs back us or contact us if you can display an advertising poster somewhere where people will see it. Perhaps where you work or in local shops or stores. It all helps spread the word.
Don't just leaflet
If you're distrubuting flyers, putting up notices, or publishing information please include our website address if you can - www.ironactonparish.info
We can also add it to the site for you. Just send us the details via our contact us form.
Community organisation?
Make sure your organisation is representedon IronActonParish.info. We can publish your contact details, promote your events, make your news available or perhaps provide you with your own page on the site.
Local knowledge
If you have a head full of useful parish information or history please let us know and we'll get it on the site.
Share your photographs of Iron Acton
Please dig out any old photographs of Iron Acton and we'll publish them on the site. Alternatively, publish your photographs of the parish and its events to Flickr not forgetting to tag them with the separate keywords "iron" and "acton". They'll then be shared with the site's users by being randomly dispalyed in our Flickr badge at the bottom of the lefthand side column. If you don't use Flickr, please let us have your photo anyway and we'll publish it for you.
Share your stories
Help us fill the Grapevine blog with:

- Appeals or information requests (e.g. requests for help at events or feedback on proposals)
